Alex muller, aia, leed ap, cphc
I am an artist and architect based in New York City. A native of Miami, I studied art at New World School of the Arts before earning a B.A. in Studio Art from Wesleyan University (Middletown, CT) and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania. At UPenn, I was awarded the Will M. Mehlhorn Scholarship, a prize for work in architectural theory, and was the recipient of the Alpha Rho Chi Medal for leadership.
A focus of my work is the interaction between the natural and built environments. I hold a Certificate in Ecological Architecture from UPenn and am a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional and a PHIUS (Passive House Institute U.S.) Certified Consultant. I have worked at the T.C. Chan Center for Buildings Simulation and Energy Studies, KlingStubbins, and SOM NY. I am an Associate at Dattner Architects in the Housing Studio.
